The name of this site is derived from its location which is between two important places—Zenze Cableway and Lantai.
At the Jhongjian service station, the exhibition pavilion and multimedia room introduce the beauty and history of Taipingshan to visitors at the first hand.
Outside the visitor center building, there is a steam-skidder displayed which was used to pull cut log by steel cable in early days. It was an indispensable tool for forestry. Besides, there is a 110-m long trail meandering between Japanese cedars, where is an ideal location for stretching your legs or taking a break after many hours driving.
