Accommodations

Since ecotourism is our goal, we comprehensively adopt eco-friendly policies relating to our accommodation and dinning services. For example, we don’t provide disposable toiletries to our lodge guests; our restaurants don’t provide disposable tableware and only use locally produced organic agricultural products. Just because our low-carbon, natural and eco-friendly measures that we are certified as the first gold-level green mark hotel in Taiwan.

There are two locations in Recreation Area offering accommodations to visitors: Taipingshan Villa and Cueifong Villa.

Taipingshan Villa

This is the location where most of the Recreation Area’s facilities and managing offices are situated. The buildings, situated on the right-side of central stairway, are named after the five major indigenous conifers in Taiwan: Taiwan Cypress Building, Luanta-fir Building, Taiwania Building and Taiwan incense-cedar Building, from bottom to top. Room types are: suites for two persons and four persons; group chambers for four persons, six persons and eight persons.

In 2014, we offered a program of conference vacation including the use of small and large conference rooms for academic lecture, workshop, meeting or teaching. Besides, we have a special program for reservation, targeting those visitors who will lease our conference room on weekdays.

Cueifong Villa

It is located in Cueifong Lake area, a warm and clean cottage providing green services. There are two types of accommodation: suite for two persons and group chamber for eight persons. Due to the electricity being provided from a generator, the power will be cut after 22:00. However, on the contrary, this measure makes it even more difficult to book at Cueifong Villa than at Taipingshan Villa because of its isolation from the outside world.
